I tried very hard to donate blood before the holidays, but things being what they were I missed the window.  So this week it is.  Now the last time I donated blood I fainted twice and spent 3 hours at the blood bank so I knew I had to do a better job this time, which means eating more than I perhaps want to this close to the end of a dietbet (Weigh in Saturday morning), but I am half a pound under goal, so let's go for it!

I had a good, non cheating but heavier than usual dinner of Salmon and Quinoa.  I made it to spin class this morning and drank a protein shake after. A bottle of apple juice at the donor center and I am ready for the vampires.  Happily I made it to the after-donation canteen without incident.  But after, there begins the cheating, planned or not, still dangerous!  I ate my packet of mini-doughnuts with two cups of coffee... mmmmm so good!

So it is a cheat day, but hopefully, this close to the end of a dietbet it will not be a completely destructive one.  Yay for dietbet forcing me to think about the consequences, even on a cheat day.  The most difficult choice will be dinner... let's see if consequences can keep me on the straight and narrow!
