As I am ready to begin week 3 I realize I am reevaluating my meal plan/program. That was up until my husband schooled me about being consistant. Don't we all give up quickly when something doesn't work? Well here I go doing the same thing! I need to stop it and continue what I started. I believe in the carb cycling and any factor could have effected for this weeks 'non productive result'. What I need to remind myself is that I AM STILL EATING HEALTHY!!!! I didn't lose weight this week nor gain anything and that's OK. But let's look at some factors that could have contributed to this week: First, I started back to work after having 3 weeks of Christmas Vacation (I'm a school teacher). The first week I lost 6 pounds I was still off of work so I was able to be faithful to the plan. Now this past week I didn't lose and started back to work. My stress levels started up but not as I normally have it. Second, I wasn't drinking my water like I should have. I would have 1/2 a gallon left of my water by the end of the day (kind of hard when you truly on have 2 breaks during the work day-recess and lunch). Lastly, my activity level was not as high as the first week. I probably had 2 really good workout days. My weight gain and weight loss well, I actually fluctuated between .4oz and .2oz. up and down. Not bad! So what am I going to do this week? Well, I am going to continue on my water intake. Since I am suseptible to water retention I need to drink plenty of water. My husband is my strong supporter (as my kids as well) that he is willing to wake up with me every morning to encourage me to work out and is willing to workout with me. Yay!!! ---I think! LOL!!! Continue on prepping my food and planning my meals (that's the easy part). I'm excited again and remotivated to continue and be consistant. I CANT and WONT GIVE UP! 15 more days. Make every day, every meal count!
