I have recently found a way to financially motivate me to keep this years New Years Resolution by playing a game!!

It is called "dietbet" and anyone can join in a game to lose 4% of their total weight in 4 weeks, all I had to do was find a game to join and add to a "pot" to be split by those who reach their goal in 4 weeks.  So for $25 I joined a game with over 1,000 players that started on Tuesday and is being coached and organized by a winner of the "Biggest Loser".

She provides us with great information about how to accomplish our goals and provides us with the exact numbers we need to know to accomplish our goal, she also has incentives and prizes to give away all along the way.

I'd like to ask anyone who would like to join us for a new and different way to lose weight in a way that offers a better chance at success by investing in yourself, it offers a great incentive to follow thru in a short amount of time with a coach & community available to keep you motivated and informed to help you reach your goals.

I would really love to start a "walking group" in the neighborhood if their is any interest, I know that I do better about getting out to walk if I have a friend or 2 to join me, otherwise it is too easy and too boring for me to blow myself off.  I know that it works because after having a stroke several years ago I was able to walk and ride bikes in the neighborhood enough to drop to 122 pounds - but I had an exercise buddy to do it with!
