Every so often, I get a strong reminder of just how far I have already come in this fitness journey. 

Whether it is buying a new pair of jeans that are 10 inches smaller in the waist than my jeans were last year, or seeing the scale creep it's way down, and down, and down towards numbers I never thought I would see again, these small victories are the ones that keep me driven through even the most challenging of plateaus...

But there is NOTHING that is more motivating than when I push my body to new heights of strength, endurance and flexibility. When I am able to "do" things that I never expected to be able to do- that's when I know that I have truly transformed my life. 

I had one of those moments today, during my second work out of the day. 

As I write this, I am literally DRENCHED in sweat...but I NAILED my T25 Speed 1.0 work out.

Less than a year ago, I couldn't make it through that one without stopping at least two or three times to catch my breath. But today, not only was I able to do the program completely unmodified (an indication that my muscles, joints and ligaments are stronger and better supported than they ever have been), but I kept up to Shaun T. the entire time!

And that was AFTER a 20km bike ride this morning.

I feel POWERFUL!!! I feel PROUD. And I feel DETERMINED to go even further this year!
