I weighed about 205 pounds this time last year.

In August 2014 I weighed about 198 pounds.

I've gained close to 20 pounds in 7 months.

Clearly, I am eating too many calories. I obviously want to lose weight but I'm almost scared to try...I'm doing it wrong. I signed up for DietBet in an attempt to jump-start my weight loss again. I truly can't believe I'm here, but actually if I think about all of the food I've eaten that I shouldn't have and all of the workouts I skipped, I guess there's a good reason I'm here. Again.

With that being said, here is my plan:

Bed no later than 10:30 on the weekdays.

No alcohol, no grains, no sugar.

1200-1400 calories per day, calorie tracking on myfitnesspal:

- 100 oz of water

- Foundation of vegetables and fruits, with lean meats, and healthly fats.

- Starting off with macros of 40 protein/35 fat/25 carbs

Work out 5 to 6 days per week: 

- Title Boxing 2 days a week (Tue & Thur)

- Zumba 2 days a week (Mon & Sat)

- Strength-training 1 to 2 days a week (Wed or Fri)

I will not be eating back calories burned. I toyed around with buying a fitness tracker to confirm calories burned, but I think I just need to learn my body and what good performance feels like.

Obviously the goal for this challenge is to lose 9 pounds by April 6. Do-able, but I have to stay focused on staying within my caloric range EVERY DAY.
