Six weeks. I have six weeks left to my 34th birthday and to the end date of my 2015 weight loss goal (30 lbs). After that, the scale goes away- or at least becomes a secondary focus for a while- so that I can focus on training for my fitness goals.
I have ten pounds to go, and six weeks to do it in. Doesn't sound like much but the last few pounds have been much harder than the ones before it...I know that as I get closer to my goal weight, every pound from here on in will require even more discipline and work.
I have a love hate relationship with Dietbet. It stresses me out. It keeps me motivated. It makes me hyperfocus on weight. It makes me remember that weight is part of the equation. It makes me feel discouraged. It makes me feel encouraged. But mostly, it keeps me accountable and allows me an opportunity to really track my progress.
So I have two dietbets left. Those two should take me all the way to the end of my 2015 goal. Then I will take a break.
In the meanwhile, time to hit the gym. ;)
