Jour•ney
n. noun
A process or course likened to traveling, such as a series of trying experiences; a passage. The journey from addiction to recovery.
We are all on our own journeys. Whether it be a journey of health and fitness (like mine), of addiction to recovery or a journey to happiness and wholeness. What ever your journey, Gods given that to you for a reason. I don't believe He allows bad things to happen to us just because He thought it would be fun to see how we handle it. He allows these things to happen to grow us. To mature us and to teach us to fully depend on Him. Some things aren't fair. Some things we will NEVER understand or have answers to but the peace and grace He gives will sustain us and give us strength to finish the journey He's given us. The road blocks. The stumbles. The falls. The backward steps are all a part of a much bigger plan. One we may not see now but keep moving forward. His purpose will be revealed in His timing. Don't throw in the towel! Don't say "I can't". His word says you can! You may have 100 pounds to lose. DO IT! Your body may tell you that you can't live without that drink or those pills, YOU CAN! You may feel alone and like you're not worthy or valuable! YOU ARE VALUABLE TO GOD! It's your journey. Take it and make it one to remember. Transform your life. Encourage and inspire those along the way. You'll be surprised how they will in turn inspire you!
