
The first week of the year has come and gone. Overall, I would definitely say it has been succesful. My husband and I decided on some habits we need to take up this year as our resolutions. Among others, this included going to the gym 4 times a week, walking more often, and only eating out once a week when it is just the two of us. We also started a challenge board! Brent challenged me to do 10 minutes on the arm bike, which I completed but was hell. I ended up going to the gym only 3 times due to my Oblivion kick I've been on. Anyway... also this week, we dicided we would go on a diet. I've had success before with a certain 7 day diet which is pretty restrictive, but had a problem always being hungry! We decided to adapt this diet and make it work for us which includes following the diet except for one meal of the day, where we can have "normal food" in good portions. I weighed in at 230 last week, which honestly is the most I've ever weighed. Normally, I would feel awful about this but I have more hope than ever.Just this morning I weighed in at 221.8, nude. Keep in mind that my first weigh in was after a day of heavy eating and in clothes... so considering everything, I figuring I lost 5 lbs this week! :) Pretty good start if you ask me. :)
