1/2 hour standing, walking, (picking things up?) and vacuuming is definitely better than sitting down! Maybe put on some music & dance a bit to brighten the mood & burn more calories?? Or, throw in 10 squats each time you're done with a room/section of a room? I think ALL movement counts!

I'm sitting at a computer too! One thing I try to do sometimes is to drink a ton of water at my desk....which makes me get up to refill my cup and take more bathroom breaks - and (if I'm in a private space) do calf raises or squats while I fill my water or wash my hands!

Another great idea! I just did half the vacuuming and did my squats. Feeling good!
