Besides committing to daily exercise routines and diet tracking, I decided to think of ways I can improve my weight loss during the day.  Immediately, I knew what I had to do:  take the stairs.  I work in an office setting and usually sit in front of a computer for eight hours.  But I often have to leave the basement level to reach the top level.  And to reach the first floor, I have to go up to the second floor, walk across to the central staircase, and move to the first floor from there.  Normally I give in to the lazy habbit of just using the elevator.  Press a button, ding, going up, and no burn.  But starting now, that's got to change!  I am challenging myself to take the stairs, every time.  And no short-cuts through the parking garage to avoid using floor 2 to reach floor 1.  I think that even small changes like this throughout the day can really help me out in acheiving my goals.  And I invite any other desk workers out there to join me in only taking the stairs!
