When I started my first Diet Bet on January 16, 2016 (My birthday!!), I had to lose 9.6lbs to meet my 4% loss goal.

 

I am starting my fourth diet bet today, and now only have to lose 8.6lbs to meet my 4% loss goal.

When I win this bet, I will weigh 205.6 lbs (or a bit less).

 

I am already signed up for a 5th bet, which starts shortly after my current bet ends.  If I start that bet at 205.6 lbs, I will need to lose 8.2 lbs to make the goal.  Winning that bet will put me at 197.4 lbs.

The magical Onederland.  I have never weighed less than 200lbs as an adult.  Not even close.  The last time I can remeber being less than 200lbs was when I was 11 years old, and was doing Weight Watchers.  I got down to 180lbs.  I was wearing clothing in size 18.  By the time I started high school, I was wearing clothes in size 22.  

I have a lot of work left to do, but it is happening.  And diet bet is helping me focus on short, more attainable goals, and then letting me reward myself for reaching them.  

 

The idea that I might be under 200 lbs in two months in crazy.  And very exciting.  On we go!
