I follow Jamie Eason on Facebook, and saw her share a post about Diet Bet.  My infant was almost 7 months old and I was almost 30 lbs over my pre-preggo weight and about 70 lbs over my goal weight.  I decided that the finincial motivation portion of it was a good incentive that didn't involve me rewarding myself with food (I am trying to break that mentatlity, we are not pets).  Instead of treating myself to a cheat meal the plan is to use any money won to buy new work out related gear, and just roll into another diet bet.  Jamie was an awesome coach for this and had some great tips and ideas along the way.  I didn't follow her work out plan but instead I jumped head first back into crossfit... talk about humbling.  I have been on and off again with crossfit for 4 almost 5 yrs, at one point I was in good enough shape to compete, coming back in, I could only do 1 pull up at a time and my cardio/endurance is abismal.  HOWEVER, here is to new beginnings.  I am eating better, trying to hit Macros and making sure I work out atleast 5 days a week.  I have lost almost 10 lbs in a month, my clothes don't fit much different yet, but I know I am just starting.  Here is to the next Diet Bet and the next success, and 60 lbs to go!!!
