Fridays have always been my preferred weigh in days.  I've tried other days but Fridays always seem to work best for me mentally. Now that I am back to tracking, I am also back to my Friday morning weigh in.  Friday's work for me because weekends are sometimes a little looser and involve social functions.  Weighing in on Friday morning moves the weekend to the beginning and then I have the rest of the week to stay strict and flush out any extra salts.

I'll admit, I was a little nervous about this morning's weigh in.  I started this new endevour Sunday night so it hasn't been a full week yet.  "Shark Week" is hitting this weekend so I am sure there is plenty of water retention.  And as well as I think I have done all week, I always have a little fear inside that I have completely under calculated my WW points and therefore have not done nearly as well as I think.  You know, all the typical self doubt disguised as "Hope for the best but plan for the worst so as not to be disappointed"

But Friday is weigh in day so weigh in I shall!  I always weigh in before my shower - my hair is thick and holds a lot of water.  I don't need that extra weight!  

 

I am down 2.5 pounds this week! 

 

I am very pleased with that, for sure! Tonight I will treat myself to a square of Lindt Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt (3 WW SmartPoints) and then tomorrow I will focus on having another successful week.
