What has been your method of weight loss? I read your post this morning.

CanonGirl87

I took up running - started C25k the first time in September, got to week 5 (repeated a few weeks) then my grandmother died, and xmas happened so I took the rest of Nov/Dec "off". Started C25k again from week 1 in January and finished it last Friday. Now I run about 4 days a week - on a new running program.

I stopped eating out and started cooking at home regularly. I signed up for eMeals when I got a groupon and the dinner for 2 recipes give me my dinner and lunch the next day. I started on their low cal plan, and recently switched to the clean eating plan.

I track my food using caloriecount.about.com and I wear my Fitbit religiously (my activity on my FB syncs with CC so I can see my net calories each day). I aim for a 500-1000 calorie deficit, with 50% calories from carbs, 30% from protein, and 20% from fat and try to keep my sodium, cholesterol, and sugars low - vitamins high.

Seems the road to success. Let's be friends on Fitbit if you would like. I am not sure how to add people. My email is cynthia_vannessa@hotmail.com
