A year ago, I was in the ER for the second time with pancreatitis. My triglycerides were 1500, sugar close to 400. It took this second visit to the ER to wake me up. Since July, I have lost 60 pounds through diet and exercise. I am off A LOT of meds!

None, it was a tough week

Non-scale victory of the week!

I'm down another pant size! I don't worry about the number on the scale. I've started lifting heavier weight and I'm pleased with the results.

Health. Officially off two serious meds from a year ago. I had my physical and the doctor was shocked! I'm posting a pic that was 118 pounds ago!!! So happy that I'm healthier now !

Non-scale victory of the week!

I indulged in a Panera kitchen sink cookie. It tastes good, but even 1/2 is 400 calories. I've been able to really taste my food, which is helping me make better choices.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I have such a sweet tooth. So happy to find Chobani coconut cream yogurt. I topped it with fresh pineapple and raspberries. Sooooo good!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Again, more sleep! I get up at 3 am so I can "workout in peace" :-) I need more than 6 hours, though. Trying to get better.

Non-scale victory of the week!

My doctor took me off 2 meds this week. I reversed the damage to my body. Hard to believe 11 months ago I was in the ER!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Not eat as many carbs, went a bit over my normal range on the weekend.

I need more sleep! I get up at 3 AM everyday for the gym, so it's hard to always get more than 6 hours!
