Non-scale victory of the week!

I've switched up my diet and exercise to suit my metabolism

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I feel disappointed that I've been losing a lot of muscle rather than fat. I've seen a specialist and now I can exercise to become healthier, not just to weigh less.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Started my competition for a car! They gave me a really simple straightforward meal plan and exercise plan, and although I'm only a few days in, the results are already showing! I'm going to start meal prepping.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I had a really rough day yesterday because a drunk roommate made it impossible for me to do my laundry, which I needed for the gym! So I didn't get my steps in, took forever to get laundry done, and didn't get the workout I wanted. I think I could've managed my internal reactions to that better. I was in such a sour mood because someone had thrown off my goals. But I'm all good now! I'll plan better next time so I'm not reliant upon doing something on a particular day.

My stomach is starting toook flatter as I lay down. Was able to buy a cute new top.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I wish I had done some toning exercises instead of just cardio. I think it'd make my shape even better, I'm just scared I'll gain weight from the muscle.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I've managed to find cheap, delicious, healthy options to help me maintain my weightloss! It's getting easier. I've also had about 3.5 to 4 litres of water daily!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I don't tend to track my food. I eat intuitively. While I eat intuitively it would certainly be better to still keep a journal of what I eat and my macros for evaluation if the weightloss slows. I think I also need to add in exercise and trust in myself and my motivation to not let the hunger generated take control!

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

Sticking with it when things get rough, whether it is illness, cravings, or negative emotions. I also have a thyroid condition I've been dealing with for years that finally seems to be under control, but if it isn't that could be a hindrance.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

I hope to stick completely to my diet, which is primarily Paleo intuitive eating aiming for calorie deficit with one day of surplus for sanity. I hope to forgive my missteps quickly and learn from them rather than crash and burn from them.
