What do you feel you could have done better this week?

If I had more time, I would be at the gym more. But school started. FT school during the day plus FT working at night, leave very little time for fun!

Non-scale victory of the week!

Went to the gym several times, this past week. On time, I even did TWO HOURS of cardio!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I just cane back into town from a mini-vacay. I went off my diet, as well as ate salty foods. The two pounds, that I actually lost, popped back on the scale as water weight - as I am very "puffy" today. Not too concerned, knowing these will come back off, as soon as I get back into my routine.

Keep going! Never give up! 3-5 times at the gym and continue to make smart eating choices!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I have finally committed to not just JOINING A gym...but USING it. I really like the atmosphere of Planet Fitness. They are open 24/7, which is great for a night shifter, like me. They also have massage chairs for a mini-realxation and red light therapy. Those little extras are probably the reason I am going, actually. I feel like the entire experience is for ME.....not just the me that I want to be. I love that they have the 30 minute circuit. I tell myself that no matter what, I can fit 30 minutes in for my health, both physical and mental. I am beyond proud of myself. Before long, I will be the "Captain Marvel that I once was, decades ago!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have slept a little more. I also could have made time for the hike that I wanted to take.

My goals are to go to the gym, or on a hike a minimum of four times this upcoming week.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I had my holiday dinner, this past Thursday. I maintained my diet by making everything keto. I also made sure to exercise during work.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I should have been exercising on days that I am not working, as well.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I need to get back on keto, as well as start exercising. I changed jobs. I moved from a very active Patient Care Technician, to becoming a Unit Clerk, at the hospital. I try to get in a short walk every day at work, but I need to do more. I also need to increase my sleep. Lack of sleep seems to sabotage me in every category.

I plan on exercising, more vigorously, at least three times per week. I also need to increase my water intake and sleep. (One hour a day before nightshift will not cut it) And most importantly....back on keto!!

Non-scale victory of the week!

This is a difficult time of year. Monday would have been his 40th birthday. And this coming Thursday will be the 3rd anniversary of his passing, due to chemo. The fact that I have not gone on a binge of carbs or wine makes me proud of myself.

Slept more. I have had horrible insomnia this week!

Non-scale victory of the week!

My favorite pair of jeans, which were tight before - are now loose. Unfortunately, they are last season's from Old Navy and I can't get them in a smaller size.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Not let my emotional/personal issues get in the way. But that is why I am leaving in an hour for a short 2 day, 1 night vacay to the beach in San Diego. I need to do things that help me de-stress more often
