I am looking forward to working out! First time since I was in school. I’m loving this new life!

After the diet bet is over I would like to continue with the same level of motivation and commitment that I have now. My mind keeps saying, have a treat to celebrate completing the diet bet, but I don’t want to end my healthy changes, I want to continue!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I had an urge to do what I’m used to doing, stop and get fast food on my way home from work, I utilized the support of the other players and kept driving home to have my healthy planned snack. I also went to a work meeting where they had all kinds of treats, I drank water. I set a plan for what I was going to eat and stuck with it. I also moved more, doing exercises 3 times and walking twice. It feels great!

Moving more, especially while I’m at work. I have access to gym equipment at work and am encouraged to use it.

Long-term goal weight

130 lbs

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

Motivation to keep going when weight loss is slow. My thyroid issues make it feel impossible at times. I also struggle with sugar cravings and sticking to my plan when I’m at social events. I tend to go all out, all of nothing. I do okay and then can’t sustain my plan or I don’t give myself room to have treats and then end up binge eating.

Drink more water. I planned out my meals and exercise. My goal is to stick to the plan I have, but ultimately have balance, not perfection!
