Looks like you've hit a stall, Yana! This is just a sign that you're on the right track, but you might have to shock your system.

How's your cardio? If you're looking to mix it up, check out 30 Day Shred from Jillian Michaels- I've found it here on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Pc-NizMgg8 and it's only 20 minutes of actual working out- sounds impossible to get a workout in that short of time, but believe me, you'll lose some weight in sweat alone!

Eh, yes I have, I don't even want to weigh myself! My cravings won over the last week, and a certain visitor paid their monthly visit. . Thanks for sharing the link, I will check it out :) I've heard good things about her videos.

If you do it, let me know how you like it!

I know how it is to step up on the scale after some diet debauchery. But if you face it now you could still win this! I gained 8lbs last weekend- EIGHT POUNDS- I didn't even know that was physically possible, yet someone else on another bet gained 10- if you're going to splurge, Halloween week is a pretty great time to do it. :)

I think I ate an entire pound of fortune cookies on my own, along with piles of Halloween candy. It was shameful, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy every darn bite!

Look at you go! Woot woot! Keep up the good work!
(btw we met once before at Julies old condo. ;) )

Yes I remember! The last week has been hard, but I'm determined to finish off the bet strong. Looks like we both have PCOS, found any thing that helps you yet?

I have tried everything I could think of before I actually did low carb. Keeping carbs in check is seriously the key for me. Ketogenic works really well too. But if you still want to not give up as much and still lose healthy weight, I recommend keeping carbs between 50g-75g.

I gave up grain about a year ago. I will still have rice occasionally and quinoa. When I started, I did 100g a day and felt good. Then I got bold and went to 75g and 40g.

As far as exercising goes, I found doing 10 to 15 mins of cardio with weight training is ideal.
A lot of cardio never worked for me.

Hey girl, that's a nice looking slope you've got there. No, seriously. You've got a nice looking graph- all downhill! Well done! Looks like you sailed through Halloween with no problems!

I saw that you've weighed in and lost weight- way to go, Yana!

Yana S.

Thank you! And way to go to you too! I'm so bad at this whole thing though, hopefully I'll make my goal!

Looks like whatever you're doing is working!

I'm losing my other two bets- I'm 2lbs away, final weigh-in is tomorrow and it's breaking my heart. I really thought I was going to win them, too. Grr.
