I've had a long battle with weight as well, just stick to your plan and it WILL pay off. It's important to do for your girls, so you are around a long time for them.

HI, first I want to congratulate you on your success!!! Go you .... You mentioned there is an exercise room in the apartment complex, does it have a treadmill? If yes, this is an easy way to start moving, set yourself an attainable goal, maybe start with 15 to 30 minutes, and see how that feels. We r here to support each other, you can totally do this, and at your age at much better idea than waiting till you r in your 40s (like me) :)

Ok, this is going to sound crazy, but I actually did it with a friend and it worked for us, we would decide on a time, and would go do our workout "together" at that time, even though we lived in different cities. I would commit to "working out" with you, you pick the time and for how long, I am pretty flexible, we could do it maybe twice per week and see if that helps .... sometimes we just need to get into a routine.

Or in your 50's like me!!! Girl you thought the 40's is rough....after menopause it's really hard.

Don't feel stupid. I'm sure most of us know exactly what it's like. I sure do. I hate that I can be successful in so many areas of life and food just owns me (and everyone could see it). Don't give up and don't wait for a crises to live the life you want! I was 245 at my heaviest and over 200 lbs for 6 years until dietbet this summer. Maybe something more long term like the db 10 games might help. Someone told me that at some point, you will try again to lose the weight. So if you are going to do it at some point it might as well be now because it will be hard now or it will be hard later. Waiting isn't going to make it less hard, so just do it and believe you can! Imagine what you could do if you were at goal weight to keep you motivated and then one step (decision) at a time will take you there.

Thank you so much! I'm going to sign up for another one. Not wanting to lose money is great motivation for me :D

I've always gotten sad thinking about how much weight I have to lose and how far I am from my goal weight, but thanks to diet bet I'm able to concentrate on a smaller number, and I really feel like I could keep doing it like this and achieve my goal.
