I'm a runner, but I hurt my achilles because of my weight. It took a very long time to heal and I gained a lot of weight in the interim. I would like to lose the weight, and then some, to avoid future injuries.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I'm once again able to fit into the shirt I wore for the Honolulu marathon in 2016!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

There were a few nights I stayed up way too late. I'm actually up too late this very minute. Definitely something to work on

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

This week has had a few victories! I am up to running 6 miles a day, 4-5 days a week. I can fit into some of the shirts I wore in college. And I even got to the gym in the morning once ?

I would like to run in the morning more often, use my sauna a couple of times, and cut out chocolate (I did cave and have some chocolate this week, hence the 4)

Non-scale victory of the week!

I always wear the same clothes for my weigh ins to eliminate variability based on different clothing. The shirt I always wear kind of fit when I started. Now it's so baggy I feel like I'm wearing a circus tent : - D

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could start working out in the morning. It's more effective for weight loss, but mornings are very hard for me for several reasons. But I might do it this week to hit my goal!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I can run up the stairs at work without getting out of breath ? I couldn't even walk them without stopping a couple of months ago

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could start working out in the morning, but it is -2 f outside, so maybe morning workouts should start in the Spring. Also, I weighed in at 181 last weekend (not an official weigh in, just hopped on the scale), but then weighed in at 184 Wednesday night. Then I remembered I weigh more at night (water weight, food weight, etc.). So I'm committing to only weighing myself in the morning.

I would like to do a 24 hour fast, and get much more sleep. My sleep was actually pretty poor this week.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I've increased my running mileage,.and today I did my first faster workout in five months! Also, even though I only lost a pound this week, I have gained a noticeable amount of muscle, and my clothes are looser? Muscle weighs a lot more than fat, so I definitely lost a bunch of fat.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I didn't manage to start working out in the morning, but I think I'm going to let that goal go. I've never been a morning person, and trying to force myself out of bed even earlier has never proven to be sustainable.

I would like to get more sleep. I just keep staying up late because I feel like it, but good sleep helps weight loss and I really want to hit that goal weight.
