Hi June - with your feet, have you asked a trainer at your gym for advice to help you correct your stance on the elliptical? Or, if your natural movements on the elliptical are bothering you, perhaps it's not the right machine? A treadmill or bike might be another option. :) Best wishes!

Have you tried looking into meetup groups (www.meetup.com). I am a member of different groups and have met some great women that now are great friends of mine and we do a lot of active events. I recently just joined a running group to find others that are interested in running 5K, 10K, half marathons together.

Ha! I know the in-a-wedding thing too well. Unfortunately, I put a bunch of weight back on after a friend's wedding last April. Don't do that.
