Ate not so great the past 2 weeks causing the scale to go up a bit instead of down :-( I at convenience food (mainly granola bars all day!) since I was taking up extra work and had to work 6AM-9:30PM. *sigh* time to get back on track, back to counting cake and taking all the hurdles that life throws us like CHAMPS! I’ll have to prep better for the future by making extra meal preps as backup !

This is for the ladies (sorry guys). How do you deal with the extra pounds right before that time of month? I got lucky I weighed in before but today I've gained 8 lbs overnight😫 and I haven't done anything different!!! Any suggestions would be appreciated 😁

Additionally, unless you HAVE to weigh in, I encourage everyone to break up with their scale!!
Listen to your body, watch your measurements, but mostly just eat clean, drink your water, follow whatever plan you’re doing, and go with how you feel!!

Was so stoked finally met my goal weight yesterday !!! But my period just started and now I’m 2 lbs away again 😬 not going to complain!
Hopefully I can still make it!!! Will continue to drink absurd amounts of water, walk, and my happy healthy foods !

Folks who cannot have gluten (I’m not talking a fad, as in medically cannot have gluten), do you have a healthy meal or snack that you look forward to?

Not being able to have gluten, beans, soy, most fruits, onions, garlic, etc has been a real bummer while trying to find healthy stuff I can still look forward to without it breaking the calorie bank (I’m aiming for 5-6 small meals a day, so looking to not exceed 400 calories maximum, preferably 150-250) ideas? I’m more protein carb balanced and low fat... I’m stumped.

If you can have any kind of veggies, I recommend experimenting with spices.
Make your own spice mixes from scratch to avoid surprises. How about Indian, Italian, Mexican, Asian...
Oh, and do zucchini noodles work for you?
Sweet potatoes? You can even turn them into modified brownies.
How about ginger or chili to add excitement. Cumin?

They might not cover all of your sensitivities but many. Or try vegan websites, leaving out everything you can't have.
I try to live vegetarian and low sodium. Not nearly as tough as your challenge but I learned to make my own food, with recipes as mere suggestions, which get modified and combined.
Ella says in one of her books that key is to mail-order ingredients you can have, so you have a pantry of things to pick from when it is time to get creative.

Not new to DietBet at all but new to the 6 month transformer. If I do not hit my goal for round 1, am I disqualified? I’ve been looking through but not seeing an answer. I saw the goals for all my months and the 5th and 6th month are the exact same. By the 5th month I have to lose my total 10% body weight. It’s very doable, just curious if that’s the same situation for everyone?

The disqualification math confuses me. Is it that we cant lose more than 30% total throughout the entire game?

KB the disqualification weights are all calculated based on your initial weigh-in, so yes, 30% is the max...and that would be a lot. It’s very rare for this to happen but to ensure players safety and health, we have been advised by experts to have these guidelines in place.

Feeling a little demotivated as I’m still the same weight as when I started !!! Gunna work extra hard this week and hopefully will be able to catch up.... can do!
