How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • WATER CHALLENGE! Time to set this week off right! Personally I aim to drinik a gallon of water daily. I follow a water schedule and use a gallon so i can make sure i get my water in for the day! This also keeps me from overeating. This week I challenge you to drink more water even if it's just adding a cup! Let us know when you do below!

  • Hello everyone! Our game officially starts TODAY and i'm so excited to start 2019 with our tribe! WE HAVE OFFICIALLY LOST A MILLION POUNDS WITH OUR GAME and ready to lose a ton more! For those of you who may not know me my name is Lexi (fatgirlfedup). I joined my first dietbet in 2016 and it helped me personally to lose 312lbs in two years with diet/exercise. No meal plan, surgery, personal trainer, but just counting my calories, focusing on my diet with 30-60 mins of exercise 5x a week in the beginning. Here's a few things to get started & some tips:
    - Welcome to our tribe! Together we are losing pounds and have become a tribe full of love, encouragement, and support! It brings me great joy to host and I love being part of such a positive weight loss space. We will have others joining us for 14 days so be sure to invite friends,family, and coworkers. You may literally save their life just by getting them to join in on the fun!
    - Diet is key! I use myfitnesspal to track all the food i'm eating and it helped me learn about nutrition labels, log my water/workouts, and showed me my progress!
    - MOVE! Try to get atleast 30 minutes of exercise 4-5x a week even if it's just walking. Every step adds up! I started with the elliptical 5x a week in the beginning as I was 485lbs and it helped me to not kill my knees. Start where you can and just focus on moving daily.
    - WATER is your best friend! I aim to drink a gallon a day. Water helps to keep you full, boost your metabolism, and can even help your skin while loosing weight!

    - PICTURES. Sometimes the scale doesn't tell the full story so be sure to take ALL the before pictures. I promise you WILL want them and we can't wait to see your transformation!

Back at diet bet. Took a 6 month break and maintained my 11 lbs lost. So glad it did not come back. Prepping food for 3 to 4 says is key for me. Then I always have something to grab and go...keeps me out of Burger and McDonals.

  • Omggg... going through my organic market haul... tasted these puppies. Amazing!! My vice are chips i can devour them like no other. Im so glad im finding all of these healthier alternatives that I can incorporate even when im not on a diet. Im totally okay if these replace frito lay for the rest of my life lol happy dance :) still putting these away, had my single serving, added to myfitnesspal, till next time hippeas :)

I hate cooking, so I went and bought easy food to make during the week and I’ll be more explorative on the weekends. Lots of frozen veggies I just need to boil or bake, rice and cans of beans. If it takes more than 5 minutes I’m likely to get fast food.

It’s a good start :)
Maybe I’ll try meal prep this weekend, I’m sure there’s lots of ideas on Pinterest.

So I did my first ever diet bet last month and I won. Unfortunately my husband and I went to Vegas the next day and I have done nothing but cheat since then. I’m so disappointed in myself and I almost didnt even weigh into this challenge but I decided I’m gonna put my big girl panties on and hold myself accountable for my actions. I hope I can pull myself out of this rut and actually win this challenge.
