  • 1. I let off a stink bomb in the gym while the whole school was gathered there. I got caught, but talked my way out of trouble.

    2. I hit a horse with my car while driving alone on a mountain at night.

    3. I once got carried out of a bar while yelling “this is the trashiest place in town!” after getting into an altercation with the owner.

Man, I got you all with the lack of detail trick! 2 is true!

I drove into a curve and the horse was in the middle of the road and just stared at me. I hit the brakes and luckily slowed down enough so that it only broke the windshield but didn’t come in on me. Some man in a truck watched it go down, and when I got out of the car he yelled at me! He said “what the hell are you doing?!?” I screamed “pretty sure I just hit a horse!” Nice guy.

3 is only a lie because it was my sister that got carried out. The owner (falsely) accused her of being trashy and trying to hook up with a guy in the bathroom and I was defending her honor. I may have gassed sis up a bit, words were had, and we both went out in a blaze of glory! Or shame, I don’t know, haha! But I said what I said and stand behind my statement! :laughing:

Sooo I have two boys and both have been doing virtual learning for the duration of this pandemic. Their handwriting looks like someone was drunk and high and trying to write with a rabid raccoon’s paw. Instead of just making them copy letters and random words, I decided to write a few sentences on a topic of their choice for them to copy, hoping to make it more fun. Here’s how that worked out: Me: We need to work on your handwriting. I will write sentences for you to copy. Kiddo, give me a character.
Kiddo: Do you remember that turkey I made up in my head that one time a few years ago?
Me: ...okay, so the character is a regular turkey. Nugget, what is the turkey doing?
Nugget: Pooping in Walmart.
Me: Lovely.

*writes about a turkey pooping in Walmart*

Nugget, after copying the story: This is inappropriate for children. What is wrong with you.

If only it were more acceptable for dudes to wear leggings to the office!

Actually - I prefer pants with real pockets actually large enough to hold more than a tube of lipstick - no way I want to trade those for the comfort of some of women’s fashion.

Omg!! My friend and I were just taking about this today!! She said she's finally trying jeggings and I told her they have been my go-to for the last 5 years because real pants are dumb and mine don't ever fit me (hmmm?) Then I told her that's my age talking (I'm 12 years older) and I'm stuck in my ways and she's still young and enjoy the jeans.

  • I have struggled with my weight for over 20 years & have only been happy with it a handful of times. Close up is my lowest weight I can remember (October 2013) & I LOVE this pic for so many reasons. A cpl months after it was taken I got pregnant & haven’t gotten that low again since, even tho I’ve tried. Other pic my kiddo took 6 years later & it’s close to my heaviest. I’ve dropped 15ish lbs since then but still have a double chin which I hate. I have very few pics of she & I together bc I detest having my picture taken. But we’ve got a huge family trip planned for may & my goal is to lose enough weight that I will happily have my picture taken so I can look back & remember it well

I am not in any of the pictures of my son's first years because I hated seeing myself. It's one of my biggest regrets. One day I bet he wonders why I was never in the pictures holding him or playing with him like I am with his younger sister. I totally get it, but would hate for you to have the same regrets that I do.
