Hi Maureen, I added you as a friend as I need others to keep me motivated and excited about doing this. I'm doing the "Every other day Diet" which is a bit of a calorie cycling program. I did well on this diet challenge but now I'm heading out of the country for a vacation and can't do the weigh in for the next date. I'm hoping they have another when I get back in April. Good luck on the next one and I hope to see "less" of you in a month. ha ha!

HI!! I have not done this before. Over the past year ive gain all the weight I lost and added 6 lbs. My pants don't fit and my 30th bday is in a week so I saw this on your wall and figured I'd try it.
I lost weight with walking and tracking calories using the lose it app last time. I thought this was a nice additional bonus to help motivate me.

What are u doing to help you lose? Keep me posted on your progress or any good tips you find!

Shanda, this should be fun!! I am currently signed up for an intense training program at my local gym and am using the Powell Carb cycle method to keep my diet on track. It's basically eating clean with lots of water and 1/2 your body weight in ounces) & timed every three hours. Check out Chris Powell's book: choose to lose: 7 day carb cycle. Since I started my quest to lose I've lost 64 lbs total (since last May) & I want to lose 40 more. I know I can do this but a chance to win a few extra bucks is a really great motivator. I also want at least my $30 back so I feel like between the gym, the gym director, and the diet bet I need to hold myself accountable!!

What is your approach? Are you exercising or changing up your diet??
