I couldn't find my 20 minute tape I was looking for...so ended up doing a 30 minute one...so out of shape, so had to do it at low intensity, but felt good. I posted on your wall...hope that went thru

do you ever write a post, hit "post" and have it disappear? I did write you and that keeps happening

Hi, Lisa - let's do 6 workouts between Feb 19 and March 5. It helps to plan date/time/place/workout/duration. I will walk for 30 minutes in my neighborhood today after work and go to the gym tomorrow before work to walk on the treadmill for 65 minutes. (Day 1 and Day 2) how about you? you can do it! June

Lisa R.

If I haven't said it yet, congrats on already hitting your 100% to reach the goal. How exciting!!! I'm still a few away but trying my best to get there. How did your workouts go? I'm having problems because I don't belong to a gym, my home gym got flooded and is a disaster area right now, the weather in Chicago is truly frightful. I am going to do a 20 minute cardio Turbo Jam tomorrow morning in my bedroom or family room( which is currently a sub floor due to the flood)...

Lisa R.

and my treadmill broke in the flood too. But, I LOVE turbo Jame and I should be able to do it in the family room or bedroom...so no more excuses...tomorrow morning is turbo jam!!!

What is Venus Index?

Lisa R.

Venus Index is not a diet but a lifestyle. It teaches you about calories and exercise. It's $42 to join and you get a big manual that discusses leptin (a fat burning hormone) and how to keep it at it's maximum. How all calories are calories...how eating at a deficit for a certain amount of days and then having a maintenance day and how to space those apart...what your deficit should be and what your maintenance should be...that eating right will lose the weight and exercise will build muscle / tone and change your body.

Lisa R.

The people on the boards are really very nice / friendly and so helpful. I haven't been following it perfectly but I'm really enjoying it. They poke a lot of holes into every day diet sense (ie. they are big proponents of NOT eating breakfast - unless you are someone that really needs to...that a calorie is a calorie but they tell you you won't feel good eating all your calories in snicker bars. ) They make a lot of sense and take a LOT of pressure off dieting. I believe they have a money back guarantee. If you do decide to sign up, don't buy into all the extra stuff - you don't need it!

Hi, Lisa! would you like to make some kind of "14 day fitness pact"? I saw your post about hoping to jump start exercise... for example: "walk 1 mile every day for 14 days". or - you choose - I would do it with you! I just won my first dietBet, but it was with HUGE diet/exercise effort at the end and I know I will bounce back up in weight - so I am hoping to MAINTAIN and lose another pound this 14 days. an exercise accountability buddy would help! (I signed up for this dietBet to be able to sign up with a friend of mine)

Lisa R.

I would like to do something with you - that would be great...but I know there is no way I could commit to working out every day...let me think about it...perhaps 3 x a week - or a total of 6 x between now and then end???
