Mine is chickpea curry: 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 can chickpeas, 1 onion, curry powder, turmeric, garlic, 1 can of coconut milk(or Greek yogurt). I also add whatever greens I have on hand, it goes great with spinach and broccoli and sometimes I add chicken too. Then just serve over rice. It's not authentic curry but definitely tasty and healthy.

Thanks for this reminder !! I picked the word “Consistent” this year as my word! This 6 month diet bet has been helping to stay Consistent! But I love any words or thoughts to help along the way!! We all got this!!

Yes!!! I definitely struggle with staying consistent. I'll fall off the wagon then slide back into old habits. I do sometimes get discouraged when I don't see results as quickly as I would like. I've just got to remind myself that if I keep going I will start to see results. Thanks for the reminder!!!

I am one of the few insane people that loves ice baths. This was my go to after a hard gymnastics workout and still is my go to after intense leg workouts.

When I marathon trained very cold baths/ice baths really do help, it was also above freezing outside lol :joy:

Awesome. (sarcasm) I gained 12 pounds in Round 1. TWELVE. I felt like I was staying about the same. Apparently I no longer have a real good feel for what my body is doing. Tonight I will be depressed and totally give up and probably beat myself up for spending the money. Maybe I can get back on this miserable horse tomorrow. Me = embarrassed, fat and unhealthy.

  • I also have a graph of my weight loss on my fridge so when I want to graze, or have seconds, or emotionally eat, I think about how much better it will feel if I get to my goal weight. I am just so sick of feeling fatigued, winded, embarrassed, and uncomfortable in my weight, I have to do something about it. I lost a bunch of weight to turn 40 a few years ago, and gained it back after a severely herniated L4/L5 disc + spinal surgery last year. We just have to reset our minds each day like a computer 😂 I hope some of this helped a little. Sending you all of the hugs and consistency vibes!! You can do it! I know you can.

Weightlifting workout done! Over 2 weeks in and this workout was the 1st time that I really felt a difference and I can feel myself getting stronger. After so many failed attempts, this time is different and I'm here for the lifestyle now. We've got this everybody, this is our time!!!
