  • It's almost Friday!

    Today I want to hear about something you're PROUD of! We often think negatively about how far we need to go and how much we have to accomplish - but taking a moment to recognize the awesome things you've already conquered can give you the willpower and determination to go further.

    I've set up an accountability check in each day with a work friend to talk about what's going well and what I might need a little help on. I find I'm MUCH more accountable to friends and family and tend to break promises of my own to myself...so I'm hoping this helps a lot!

I was on vacation last week so I couldn’t weigh in. Happy to say I still lost a few pounds without being super restrictive. Starting to move from my all or nothing thinking.

I went out of town to visit friends for the long weekend and was able to follow my diet plan the whole time - that NEVER happens! I spoke openly about dieting and chose not to feel ashamed about it …! That felt good and it helped me stay accountable. My friends were supportive and offered to prepare food that would be suitable for me. Luckily, I was prepared with my own food for the weekend and when we went to a restaurant, I had a salad with grilled chicken and dressing on the side. We had a fairly active weekend, so I made sure to up my calories to match my output. I am home, my weight is down, and I am so proud of myself!
