I agree long term, that is the downfall of betting money on lbs lost.

Hi Casey, I am no expert or even an exercise enthusiast as a matter of fact, you could call me pretty sedentary until I got my act together on January 1. As of today i am just 4 lbs. away from March’s goal. I have been walking - now up to 9,000 steps a day (and not all at once) and I do a senior kettlebell 30 minute YouTube workout 3x a week using 10 lb kettlebell. My weight has consistently been dropping every day. I attribute this to my food and water intake the exercise I do is for muscle and metabolic benefits. I’m 57 years old. I don’t do anything that is considered exerting or classified as cardio. This combination has been the secret to my success- though not sure it’s such a big secret. Share your wins guys! They may not be scale related. I’ve learned that my focus on diet and exercise is much better when I can lose money haha. I put on a tshirt this week (first time in a while living in Ohio) and my wife made a comment about looking good. Made my week!

That's great Tim!

The win that makes me happiest this month is my increased range of motion! I noticed I was becoming stiff and stuck. But end of the month, and all my work has me back to the range I had a year ago!

Doesn’t that just feel the best? I too was called “skinny” the other day by my husband and I still have about 70 more lbs. to lose so- not exactly skinny- but he can see there’s a difference. That makes me feel so good. Good job! Keep going!
