Hi everyone! I’ve done a bunch of DietBets and I’ve won some and lost some. I find that even when I don’t win the accountability is very helpful. I’m at a point where it’s not realistic for me to lose 4% in one month so I think this maintenance game is the right fit. Good luck to all! I see that it’s a small group so let’s try to stay active and keep each other motivated.

Hi Jillian! This is my second Maintenance challenge in a row. So so helpful! I will promise to stay active to help support everyone and to get support. Moving out of the summer and into the holiday season is tough for me so I really want to stay focused. Be well!


It's the same for me. It takes more time to lose weight now, so I can't do regular games anymore (just did my last and won by very little), so this will be great for accountability. I tend to forget to weigh and watch and adjust and keep on the right track when I'm not on bets... so this will help tremendously!

  • Welcome everyone, so happy to have you all here with us!

    I like to do weekly challenges as part of our game, it helps to keep the game more interesting and motivating. (Optional of course)

    The First Challenge is a mini one: The Water Challenge!

    Here is the requirement if you want to participate:
    Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day, Wednesday through Friday. Of course, you should keep it up after that, but we are highlighting hydration this week!

    *Water is such a vital and important part of everyone's health, and an integral part of any diet. Not only does it help cleanse your body of toxins, but it aids in weight loss and reduces water retention. Please feel free to drink more than 64 oz. in a day, especially if you are perspiring much at all. Ideally, you should be drinking half your body weight in ounces of water each day, but that much isn't required for this challenge.

    I will ask at the end of this week, starting on Friday, if you completed the challenge. You will need to report in on that post if you did complete the challenge to be entered into our first drawing. You will have until 12:00 PM PST on Saturday to report in. I will then put all the players who completed this week's challenge into our drawing for a $10 Amazon gift card that same day!

    And one suggestion, but not part of the challenge: Please introduce yourself and share your goals! I think it helps the group get to know each other and creates a way for each player to establish some accountability. Accountability with weight loss is essential! Let us know where you are on your weight loss/fitness journey, and what your short/long term goals are! Just for fun let us know where you are from. I live in Southern Utah.

Hi there! I’m looking to lose about 20lbs. After I had a baby 6 years ago, i lost all the weight and felt great. The scale slowly crept up over the course of years and now I’m at the point where I’m not comfortable and want to do something about it.

My body has spoken, 145 is as low as it wants to go. So even if I never make those last 5 pounds, I’m calling it a win. I don’t really regret joining the game. I feel the money is going to a good cause. These dietbets have been my main motivation, and I will continue to join them when my weight creeps up. Hope you all win big!
