hey kim! how's this month going for you so far?! i see you've lost 9.2 lbs this month! holy cowwww! i'm trying for 10 (my boyfriends been gone for a month and i really wanted to feel like a whole new woman when he get back)...but it looks like my body just doesn't want to give up the last little bit of it yet! but i have 3 more days so who knows! all the best to you! :)

Hey, Jessica! Things are going pretty well, thanks.

I hit a little plateau when some friends convinced me that it is ok to "treat" myself every now and then. After eating the way I used to for a couple days, weight was the last of my concerns. I was groggy, tired, depressed and achy...kind of how I used to feel all the time. Some treat!

I was pretty big (for me) when I started, so ten pounds wasn't too big a deal. You look smaller...if you are on your way to 10lbs, I bet you will seem like a whole new woman to him! Just keep up the good things you are doing, whether the scale moves or not! :-)

Hey Kim! I just joined the sBring IT! Shayloss Dietbet... it's a DB4... I want to join the transformer that starts on Tuesday, but I was hoping there would be more money in the pot! I made a whopping $16 off my DB4's that ended this week...hahaha... so i'm hoping i could win a little more? although weight loss is definitely feeling better than $100 does :) what are you thinking?

Kim R.

Hi Jessica! I do like the money, but I started losing about a month before I learned about DietBet so this is all just kind of a bonus for what I would be doing anyway.

The larger pot sizes look appealing, but you will likely be sharing it with more winners, so I think that is less of a factor. Even in the $100 game I played, I only won $15.

I originally joined some smaller games because I thought I would really get to know the other players and make friends. Now, I feel like smaller games of first-timers who are mostly friends or co-workers are more likely to join on a whim and then just not be into it. I won $55 on my little $20 game because there were only 2 winners.

I love the idea of the Transformer - I am in two of them. It makes the goal long-term so people don't yo-yo between every DB4. Money-wise, people who drop out still have contributed to the round 6 pot, so it will be interesting to see if that makes for better payouts. Good luck and have fun!
