It's the RDA for carbs. The only organ in the body that is fueled solely by carbs is the brain and that's the minimum brain fuel required. Also, new studies show low carb diets are more prone to causing dementia. So like I said for weight loss and for temporary use there are acceptable reason for a low carb diet but it's not optimal for health and the long term.

  • I went to the Mayo Clinic website and entered my info. 1950 calories seems like a lot to me. But I’ve been eating around 1300 on my weight loss journey. Love this info tho!

That's great that means you have a deficit of 650 calories a day plus your exercise! (The 1950 is what you would need to maintain your current weight)

Protein yogurt, hard boiled egg white only, peppers, and protein bars if my meal will be later than usual so I can last without binging on something. Those are my go to things.

Oh, and freeze dried fruit packs. I make sure to get ones that have no added sugar.

I had that issue with the app today and it's never happened to me before either! I used the website instead. I'll uninstall and reinstall now and see if that fixes the app issue.
