Finally got my weight submitted... does anyone else have trouble getting the numbers on your scales readable on your camera? I can never get the right lighting, then the weight disappears and I have to start all over

I have to have my flash on for it to be readable. Now that I've figured that out, I forget to turn it off when I do the full view so I sometimes end up with a flash in the mirror. One of these days I'll get them both right.

My stupid scale tells you all kinds of stuff after the weight (like your BMI, calorie recommendation, and then the weather)... if you’re not fast, you miss out!! Unfortunately, this is the only digital scale that downloads to my phone that doesn’t do body fat (I have a pacemaker and am not supposed to used impedance scales). Oh well...

How are y'all doing? I'm not doing good.
I found out my grandpa has terminal cancer and the doctors gave him a month to live. I've been broken, sad, and my body reacts by fever and tiredness. I'm very absent-minded. Right now I am proud however of not giving up to my emotions with food, but I haven't exercised for a week either. Hope to get back to workouts soon, but now I guess I'll just... Go with the flow.

  • Sooooo, this happened over the weekend! A bit of a blow to my progress, but don't want it to stop me...
    I am supposed to be in a cast/moonboot but they need the swelling to go down first... Reinjured an old torn ligament and they suspect it's torn again, I really hope not! Need to do a sonar once the swelling is down to confirm, but LUCKILY no broken bones!

    Anyways... Does anybody have any good seated exercise programs that burn loads of calories for me while I'm off the leg for now?

Agree with Miss Toni Rae and Emilia. Losing weight is 90% about diet, so you can totally do it!

Hi everyone, thanks for the motivation/well wishes and suggestions. I have been MIA most of the week since posting this last week. Turns out I tore off my ATF ligament completely and need to be in a brace (thank goodness not a cast/moonboot) for 6 weeks then physio... I found some really nice cardio workouts that are quite tough on YouTube (I just searched for upper body cardio for foot injury) and I got some great workouts. I have only done a few because the pain pills have been knocking me out most of the week...

I do feel loads better this week and thought I'd give an update... I have upped my game with my diet and have been really strict with myself which seems to be helping a ton, so thanks to everyone's suggestions!! :)

Right the winnings for transformers won't show up in your profile until after the whole game is finished. Round winnings while the game is in process can be seen by clicking all at the top right when you first get into the game


DietBet takes 25% for running the game, that’s how they make their money. The rest is split between the winners. Everyone got $19.22, I think the OP put in the wrong amount.
And like others said, half goes to the final pot, so we bet $17.50 this round.

So frustrated. I started a new workout program on Beachbody 3 weeks ago, which included timed nutrition (more calories/carbs+fruit) to account for more reps and longer workouts.

The first week I lost 3lbs, then steadily gained those back, plus 3 more. I have stayed 99% compliant and have put in the work.

I have also been measuring because the scale doesn't show the whole picture, and can see some inch loss in my chest and thighs, but have gained in my hips and stomach.

Going to change up my program and go back to the calorie count that was working before.

Not going to meet this week's goal, but staying on course.

Slow progress is still progress (annoying to hear, I know but still true, I try to remind myself of this all the time coz gaining weight while you've done everything right is extremely frustrating!)


Thank you everyone :blush: I changed to a new workout program that is a less time, but still challenging and back to the previous UPF containers, and after one day I can already see stomach bloat is starting to come back down. I think the program I attempted needs heavier weights than what I have to account for the increased carb/calorie intake. I'm good if I don't make goal this round, I am in it for the long haul and finding what works best for my body. Good luck everyone with your weigh in tomorrow :two_hearts:

Get ready for the final weigh in! Once the game ends tonight at midnight PST, you have until 11:59PM PST on Oct 6 to submit your final weight. If you're a winner, you'll be asked to submit photos and will get a new weigh-in word when you visit the weigh-in screens.

Submit early to make sure your photos are accepted, and remember - don't eat that cupcake until you get an email that your photos are approved! (If you don't get one, check your spam folder.) You must have an approved weigh-in in order to be declared a winner.

The game will finalize 24-36 hours after all weigh-ins have been submitted. Good luck!

I’m not sure how many of you record what you eat but this has been a VERY helpful tool for me!! I didn’t realize how much I eat WHILE preparing meals! 🙈 MyFitnessPal, Noom, a small notebook... there are resources out there! Hope this helps someone as it’s been a great help for me!! ☺👍

I was just checking I've got 29 days of daily logs on my fitness pal. May seem tiring at first, but it's very relieving as the numbers tell you exactly what you can eat and give you peace of mind.

Omg I never thought of the weight of the phone!! Try using a chair or shelf and self timer on your camera settings


Last week I was weighing myself with all my clothes on because it was freezing here and I was too cold to take them off. When I finally did I lost about 2kgs just in the clothes I was wearing!! :joy:
