Hello! How are you already at 96% weight loss? We have only been doing this for 4 days. This doesn't seen right or healthy

Hi. Thanks for expressing concern about whether I'm being healthy about losing weight. I was surprised about the quick initial weight loss, too. I think there are 2 likely reasons for it:

1) My eating and exercise habits before joining DietBet were spiraling out of control, and I put on quite a few pounds in a short period of time. My experience has been that after that kind of behavior, the first few pounds can melt right off.

2) I signed up and weighed in for DietBet immediately after learning about it. That was mid-morning after a large (and unhealthy) breakfast. My official weigh ins have all been mid-morning while my unofficial weigh ins have been immediately after rolling out of bed, before breakfast or even water. I find unofficial weigh ins are more motivating that way since the difference can be as much as 2 pounds or so on some days.

My net calories has also been a little low since I started, but I'm working on that.

Keep it up Jabuol~ We ALL lose differently as all our bodies are different! You are doing awesome! AND SOOOO close to making it under the 200 mark! Way to go! =)
