Hi John, Congrats on winning Bet Big to Win Big today! If you know of any other Intermittent Fasters who want to start an IF dietbet, it would sure be fun to join a group of likeminded folks for a challenge.

John S.

I agree that a IF DietBet would be neat. I'll look into starting one!

Beckys-Getting-Fit

Yay! If you do I will join!

Hi John, Which intermittent fast schedule are you doing, just out of curiosity? It sees to be working great for you! Is it 5:2? Great job, whatever you are doing!

John S.

It has been working great for me, mostly because it helps me exercise my willpower, which is key. Specifically, the 5:2 plan that I follow is outlined here: http://thefastdiet.co.uk/

Awesome, well great job I am very impressed. If you ever start an IF or 5:2 dietbet I would definitely consider joining up.

Hey saw your post on Intermittent Fasting. Unfortunately couldn't reply because I'm not joining this game. But yes I have had great success with intermittent fasting. Have been doing it since Oct-2012! Started with Lean Gains Style 16/8 so basically skipping breakfast having late lunch and dinner. Ate usually between 1-8. Tried the eat/stop eat but found it easier just to stick to the same protocol everyday. This year I've been doing Warrior diet style which is an eating window of 4 hours every day so only eating now between 5-9 when I get home. I Love IT! I was overweight and stressed out with high blood pressure when I started. I lost 50lbs and BP/blood work has all improved vastly. Many different protocols but best to try them yourself and see what works for you. But give it a few weeks at least of each because takes a bit of time for body and hormones to get accustomed to not eating when you normally do. Google these : LeanGains, Fast-5, Warrior Diet, Eat-Stop-Eat.

This is excellent info. More than I expected from anyone. I'll do some research on the different protocols to see what I can work into my lifestyle, but I'm glad to hear from someone that has had success. Thanks a lot!
