I am at my “happy healthy” weight and I have never felt more energized and fit. What a wonderful journey it has been. My entire lifestyle has changed.

I want to join another game but since I’m at my happy weight I want to focus on maintenance. Any suggestions for another game?

We are now in our second lockdown of 2021, and I have been so demotivated lately. I am basically back where I started with this weight loss challenge, and am just feeling so defeated. :(
How are you guys staying motivated during lockdowns?

(We are in a LOCKDOWN lockdown, where police can stop and question you if you are outside of your home)

I’m sorry you are in lockdown. I had been going to the gym regularly before all this. I have missed going to the gym for over a year. Have been trying to walk the dog and do little dumb bells at home. Still not ideal though.

Weigh-in submitted - no weight loss this month. ☹️ Diet was a bit less restrictive, exercise routine was on point. I have slimmed down so I’m thinking more muscle-mass; hence the no weight loss. I’m going to try intermittent fasting to try to jump-start my metabolism - not giving up, just gotta change up!!!

Intermittent fasting has been so helpful for me. I feel less bloated, more energized, and it removes my late night snacking. My advice would be to work your way up. I started with 13 hour fasting and it took me months to get to 16-18 hours. You’ve e got this!

Woohoo! Made it! I was happy to find a balance in my diet and workout. I am able to enjoy some of my “treats” and workout so I don’t gain. It’s all about finding a sustainable healthy lifestyle. This 6 month game is helping immensely. Best of luck to everyone.

THIS!!! This is exactly what I'm hoping to accomplish this coming month!! First month my exercise game was awesome, but my caloric intake wasn't great. This past month my caloric intake was on point and is the only reason I made weight because I didn't work out at all. So now the plan is to combine it all and really get on track for the next few rounds because I REALLY WANT THE OCCASIONAL TREATS! Lol. This month, I had NO TREATS! No adult beverages, no desserts, no seconds. It wasn't fun and it's not sustainable as a lifelong practice!!!

I did 30 days of 100 kettlebell swings. Then continued the habit!


I third the water intake! And then maybe the following month make it 30 days off a gallon a day (that's my optimal amount and it's been pretty wonderful for my body).

I love the monthly challenges like this - fabulous way to stay motivated without redundancy!

I promised myself to try new things and get out of my comfort zone during this weight loss journey. Today I went to an outdoor Zumba class and had the time of my life. So glad I left my ego at the door and just went for it. It was so freeing!

I was surprised this morning to be up half a pound when I felt like I did ok yesterday. Then I realized, PMS symptoms started yesterday too. Sigh. Here come at least 3 lbs in the next few days! I have an order of Flo vitamins coming though. I’m so excited to try them. They say they help with cravings, weight gain, cramps, etc. I hope they do! Anyone here try them already?

I haven’t heard of Flo but I just ordered them! I am interested to see how they work. Also, their marketing is so current. Love it.

Also, I agree to not let the scale discourage you during these few days. You’ve got this!


I've never heard of Flo, but I'm gonna go look them up now. As I've gotten older, my cycle has changed a bit to where I have cramps now when before I never did. So if love anything that can mitigate cramping. Lol

Hit a wall. Haven’t budged for two weeks. I already work out two hours a day and stay under 1200 net calories. First ten pounds came off quick but now I’m just sitting with no progress. What happened?! :(

The body is a mysterious thing. This sort of thing happens and is hard to understand. Unfortunately our bodies didn't come with a user manual to explain it all to us. Yes, carbs absorb water, but... 2 weeks? Eventually the laws of thermodynamics will prevail, so just hang in there. Unless you're the anomaly, in which case I'm sorry. ;^)


I agree with the “shock your body concept.” One thing that I like to do is a time controlled feeding (sometimes called intermittent fasting). Basically, I eat dinner as early as i can. The next morning I continue to fast (I’ll drink black coffee, but other than that, just water.) then I continue to fast ask king as I can. It depends on the day, but anywhere from 1-5ish. I eat a high protein, high healthy fat, and low carb lunch/dinner and then don’t eat again till the next morning. It really isn’t as bad as it sounds
