hey there Shawn, I am missing you on your blog and I am missing your encouragement here. On your blog, you were saying how you were losing your way..... turn on the GPS and get back on the blog, come back to this bet and maybe we all can help you like you have helped us. We all deviate off the road, but the faster we get back on, the easier and faster it gets to reach our goal. You have done so well, so don't let some pounds deviate you from reaching your goal!! Dear Shawn,
people are asking about you as we miss your voice on this DietBet. You must be very busy now with your book out and these DietBets going on plus normal "Life Happens" stuff.
I have had 4 surgeries in 2 years and my hip replacements still are not right. I used to be so active I couldn't sit still. I tried my old Atkins method and many others after the last surgeries, but nothing worked. I couldn't see my identity in the mirror because I had gained so much and I was SOOOOO depressed, until.....
I found your site. You taught me that it is ok to be human and to need something to eat and enjoy besides grass. Your stories and support helped me get up and try exercise with the Silver Sneakers, an elderly group that makes you sweat but is easier on the joints. Three times a week I go for an hour now, I have lost 15 pounds and this is my second Diet Bet because of you.
Please let me encourage you right now...you are helping to save my life! Thank You, Shawn.

I saw your most recent blog post (about losing your way) and I figured that I'd just let you know that you have motivated me, along with so many, many other people, to lose weight and be healthy and happy. I know you can make your way through this tough time and get back to where you want to be! Hang in there and stand tall - you've done AMAZING things so far, and will continue to!!! =)
