Hey, Lisa & Tricia: I made this the other day... it is really good... my tip would be to let it freeze overnight. The only added sugar is in 3 TBSP maple syrup, but if your bananas are super ripe, it is probably not necessary. I made the batch as instructed and then split it our over one muffion tray of 12. This is almost Paleo (I don't know if the maple syrup could be considered Paleo) and I am pretty sure it is vegan too: http://mywholefoodlife.com/2014/02/03/banana-walnut-freezer-fudge/

key kate.. so i just looked at this recipe again, more in-depth than the first time, and noticed there is no cocoa in it or anything... it is just the texture of fudge and it's sweet or does it taste chocolatey?

Yeah... Fudge doesn't necessarily mean chocolate. It doesn't taste like chocolate at all. It tastes like banana nut but it is thick and chewy...
