Katherine - I struggled with that one when my daughter was younger. It was there so why not eat it? The only advice I can share is if you make a habit out of tracking EVERYTHING you may be less inclined to eat something that you don't want to track. And yes to maintaining! S-T-R-U-G-G-L-E!

Jennifer - I have a strong sweet tooth, too. Have you ever checked out some of the dessert recipes on Skinnytaste? You may be able to find something that satisfies you, but with fewer calories.

Tiffany - I certainly have a tendency to eat like a jerk, too. The thing is I know I feel better when I eat better. So why not always eat better? UGH!

Valerie - yes to old habits. Being committed is something that requires daily practice.

Staying on track with my nutrition plan. I have a super tight budget so utilize a weekly farmer's market box co-op. It's all really good food, but never know what I'm getting until it shows up, and often a lot of what I "shouldn't" eat according to my nutrition plan.

  • Meal prepping helps me stop grabbing for food I think I need and have an easy grab and go for the good food that will fuel me. My serving of Fruits and veggies in each meal 👌

    -Egg cups with broccoli, spinach and yellow pepper
    -coconut milk yogurt with berries and ground pumpkin, flax and sunflower seeds

I’m at my goal! Yikes! I didn’t see that coming especially with vacation in there. But I made sure to move and avoid the foods I know I could go crazy on…I did enjoy a gluten free pizza and enjoyed myself but was way more conscious than other times. I still have a few lbs to go in my other games (was a few lbs heavier when I started this one) but I feel able to keep going!

Keep going everyone. Every choice matters and movement.. nothing crazy just moving your body throughout the day no matter what you do is super important. 🙌🙌

me too! But I had a stomach bug on Friday so I don't know if it will last. Congratulations to you and good luck with maintaining! I sometimes find that to be the hardest part.

Some days I don't think I exercise at all because I'm not running or biking but then I think about it and realize I'm exhausted because I'm cleaning up so much branches around the house and cutting trees down that don't need to be there etc.
