PedalGirl

I've been battling my weight all of my adult life, but it's even more important now that I have Psoriatic Arthritis and the extra weight just makes the joint pain worse, especially in my knee. It's time to get serious. Just need a kick in the pants.

Hi PedalGirl, I am overweight to the point my knees and joints are starting to bother me. That is why I got to lose weight. Nothing medical yet, but if I don't get this weight also, I probably will have medical problems. We need to take one day at a time.

My rheumatologist tells me that for every pound you carry, it's 3 pounds of pressure on your knees. So, being overweight by 60+ pounds like I am... well, you can do the math. We'll get this done!!!
