Non-scale victory of the week!

Been away 5 months. When covid mandates changed here in September, I stopped going to the gym. Very quickly after that, I also started falling off my healthy eating plan. And here I am again at my starting weight. So, I'm back to lose 11kgs ;)

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Non-scale victory of the week!

I managed to eat healthy most of the time.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

i had a breakup talk last weekend so things went a bit sideways (smoked a few cigars, haven't gone to the gym). Even though I know exercise helps in many ways with stressors like this, it was hard to get motivated.

Tracked food everyday for a little over a week with MyFitnessPal and created a couple of go-to meals that sped up eating and made it really healthy.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Swam two 30 min sessions, and each time treaded water for 2 sets pf 5 minutes. And did another 30 minute (stationary) bike ride. Satisfactorily sticking to a healthy diet.

It's a national holiday long weekend this weekend and I haven't exercised, and ate off-plan one evening, but managed to stay at the same weight as last weigh-in due to intermittent fasting and portion control

Non-scale victory of the week!

I hit my target 4% body weight plus a little more (5.5kgs or 12.1lbs) by sticking to a healthy diet with a small breakfast in the morning and a larger dinner in the evening, averaging 7 hours sleep per night.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I slacked off in the last week because I hit my goal early and convinced myself I can, and because I tend to self-sabotage nesr the finish line - two things I really need to look at.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Made huge progress in getting rid of some stuff I no longer need, which makes the space feel calming and focused. I plan on turning the space into a workout area: bench, dumbbells, yoga mat & ball, kettlebell, punching bag, skip rope, and bodyweight exercises.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I stopped jogging again when I started to feel that pain return to my leg. It's frustrating and a bit demoralizing. I love jogging and miss it. I need to find a good substitute. pools aren't open yet and bikes are either crazy expensive or sold out. Also, I surprised myself with how badly I ate this weekend: pizza and McDonald's... and I felt so hungry a few hours later. It was gross how much I consumed calorie wsie for almost no benefit (felt hungry so soon).

C25K Week 2 Day 2 done in 32.4 humidex rating (a Canadian way of describing how hot it feels), which set a new record for heat. And about to make super healthy chili. So healthy I'm adding dark chocolate to bring it down a peg (and accentuate the spice)!
