Covid finally got me a few days ago and I can’t even think about working out. All I want is salty chips and hot baths. I know I’ve still lost weight this month so I’m going to stay positive and remember the bigger picture of slow and steady. I’ll keep that next month goal in sight if I don’t make this round! Congrats to everyone who is at the goal for this round 👍 and don’t be discouraged if you aren’t !

  • I'm so hungry after my workouts. Didn't find a recipe against hunger yet. But I need the workouts for my muscle tonicity. Don't want to get flabby.
    So I put my first priority on the strength. Further weightloss is lower-ranking.
    So I'm in the risk of losing another round.
    But I found a book that encourages me in this attitude (see the photo below)
    Now, I'm searching for a balance between working out and losing weight without starving. Has anyone a suggestion for me?

I keep serving size portions of homemade vegetable soup in my freezer. It's all veggies with vegetable broth and spicy V-8 for the base. Sprinkle a teeny bit of grated Parmigiano... filling and yummy and lots of veggies!

  • Is anybody else living for the longer days and 'false spring' (because we all know March has one more snowfall in her...) we've been having? I took a walk to my favourite green space today. Read a book. Felt the sun hit my face. Now I'm rolling out my yoga mat with the windows open, and the birds chirping outside. It's been a hard winter, but goals feel easier when it's sunny out.

We had a little bit of false spring in Wyoming last week. It was in the 50s for 3 days or so. But winter returned over the weekend, and we usually get at least one huge blizzard in March or April.
I agree. It's easier when the sun is out.

Anyone have one of those days where they just don't want to track their food cause they ate so much crap?? I felt that way yesterday, but I logged all my food and it wasn't as bad as I thought 😅 still over my calories and I didn't exercise yesterday thanks to a sugar stomach ache. I set a goal last week to cut out sugary treats and I made it 1 day.... going to give it another go!

Had this situation last night. Made poor choices but not as bad as I thought and I weighed in this morning and was much less bloated than anticipated. Intuitively eating today focusing on real whole foods. Feeling better for it already

Today was much better! I dont keep treats at home but there are always treats at work. Most days its not bad but occasionally the stress gets to me. Thanks for all your ideas :)

  • Argh! I ate and forgot to weigh in. Precious data! Hehe. I'm a daily weigher and want to see my trends even if the weight goes up due to menstral cycles or sodium etc. I know after 2 or 3 months I'll be able to see true progress. In other news I'm walking 30 minutes today before work. Baby steps!
