I do it daily, about the same time every morning. Sometimes I'll skip weighing on the weekend if I don't wake up early enough to weigh at about the same time as the weekdays. I make a line chart with the info so I don't pay attention to the exact number, except for DietBet purposes, and look at the overall downward trend. If it's looking too zig-zaggy, then I know I need to get serious about my eating and working out. I know for some people it makes them neurotic, but for me the data makes me more aware of how my body reacts to things. For example, I know that if I eat a larger salt-heavy meal that my weight will go up 2-3 lbs, but in the next two days it goes back down. It shows that the one meal didn't actually make me gain that weight, but that it's probably water weight.
