Brooke, I applaud you for being honest with not only yourself, but with this online community of "strangers". That is very personal information and it takes a lot of bravery to tell people that.
I too have been a "yo-yo" for quite some time. I'd get in this groove of eating healthy, working out 3-4 days/week for months at a time, then I'd have some kind of "excuse" that would stop me (vacation, midterms/finals, etc.) and fall behind and give up.
The way I look at it is this: This is a lifestyle change. Until you are committed to changing the way you live every day, it will be extremely hard to succeed.
And believe me, it is very hard. Sometimes we just have cravings and impulsively decide to just indulge. But! Let's take it back to when we were babies and learned the word "no!". If someone asks if you want a donut/pizza/burger etc, just say no! (or no thank you haha)
