Amen! I've been half using breastfeeding as an excuse, half afraid to diet because of what I've read online about dieting and its possible effect in reducing breast milk supply. I'm finally deciding to go forward with dieting to make myself feel like myself again -- but I'm monitoring my supply and will bump my calories back up again immediately if I see even the slightest reduction in supply. Good luck to all of the other breastfeeding moms!
