  • My scale isn't playing nice, and I'm basically at my starting weight right now.... but I told my husband today that spending the $50 per month (Canadian dollars haha) has been more valuable to me than a gym membership because it's really keeping me focused on improving. I'm SO much fitter than when I started, my clothes are fitting better and I feel amazing. I'm training for my first 10km run in June and actually look forward to my runs and workouts every day! My kids and husband are noticing great changes in my energy levels and mood. So, if I don't lose a single pound on the scale I'll be peeved and annoyed that I "lost" so much money, but at the same time I am really really grateful that I found this program!!! Consistency and slow, steady progress over perfection ???? This morning I ran to Starbucks for a dark roast coffee with oat milk. The sun feels amazing!

  • Today marks 50 pounds lost since July, when I was at my highest weight ever. I really kicked it up a notch in January when I joined this dietbet.
    To celebrate I bought a rocking lawn chair that has a 300lb weight limit... I don't have to worry about that now <3 <3 and that feels amazing<3 <3

    I put on a pair of size 10 jeans and could actually button them!

  • Has anyone else had a rough start to April with the holiday? I feel like because I did weigh in, I gave myself a little too much allowance on treats, and I am up a few lbs. I know it’s likely water weight but I’m on he struggle/ guilt bus. I need motivation!

    I’m making a “reset meal” today of Spicy Chicken Veggie Noodle Soup. I make the noodles separately on the side so I can watch my portions.

    Anyone have an IG account that they post their stuff to? Mine is Ang.Gets.Fit if anyone wants to follow.

I was feeling like that last month! I think a back-to-back Kickstarter and then this transformer got me over-stressed about the weight and I gave up a little. Unfortunately, I didn’t make the goal last month, but now I feel good this month and knowing the % per month goes down gives me lots of hope! Motivation goes up and down, but it’ll come back up! We can do this! :blush:

  • Do you like your scale?!

    I'm looking for scale suggestions because I hate the screen on my scale (the numbers glow bright blue which makes it really hard to take a picture of for weigh-ins).

    My current scale is awesome except for the color of the numbers. It lists weight, BMI, water %, bone density, and muscle mass.

    I don't need a connected device or anything, but would love a scale with the above metrics if possible. I always prefer people's recommendations which is why I'm asking here and not just doing a Google search.

  • Today we went to lows for dirt and grass seed, woo hoo!!
    I picked up a 35 lb bag and REALIZED how much weight I had been carrying around!!

    35 lbs!

    I haven't felt like it was a lot because I have a lot to lose, but dang!! I feel awesome that I have come this far!

  • Sometimes you don’t make your goal weight... but this is the difference from December - Today (March 4th). I went from pant size 22 to pant size 14 (pictured, but I actually ended up in a 12!) I’m going to hit this next goal though!
