Non-scale victory of the week!

Cleaned out the pantry and cleaned the upstairs after the water heater leak.and replacement of the pressure regulator.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Everything. Meal prepped, more water, less snacks, healthier food overall, fewer indulgences and stress eating. Avoiding inflammatory foods, no dairy. Wheat. Salty processed food. Just a difficult few weeks. Retained so much water. I gained weight in the last month though o should have been losing. I'm still under this months goal but that is only because I did better in the last 2 months and lost more. This cant go on. I can't repeat this.

Non-scale victory of the week!

18 year Anniversary of major brain surgery. And still improving!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

More consistent hydration on at home days. Not having salty chips/indulgent food right before a weigh in. Should have gone for a stress relief walk with a friend rather than resorting to a ""bitch and chips" session. Thought I had more of a buffer, but at least I made it!

Non-scale victory of the week!

Went to the gym last night AFTER a full day of watching World Cup at a local bar and indulging in adult beverage (ordered SMALL of each kind and alternated with water) and some homemade croissants (France) and pretzels (not exactly Belgian but....). Also, ordered in bbq for lunch and kept to protein and healthy sides. Only had 3 small beers the entire day.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Not indulged at all yesterday and hydrated better/more consistently over the entire week. .

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

DIET AND HYDRATION ADHERENCE! Kickstarter weigh in is coming up at the end of the week! Wonky post- flood home scale makes me nervous and the gym scale weighs differently....a bit heavier imo. This Kickstarter was already going to be a stretch so I'm a little worried about the scale and my indulgence yesterday did not help!! I joined because of a goal....family reunion the week after weigh in. This would require an increase in weekly weight loss anyway, so ongoing compliance was critical. I'm feeling a little puffy today from yesterday's extra salt, beer, and bread. So, hoping that some extra water today will help remedy this..... Note: people at the gym were very nice last week helping take pictures of me on the scale!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I won a Progress Prize! A rowing maching....omg! Good week, good hydration and nutrition. Fit into clothes that hadn't fit in a while. And good interaction with DietBet coaches. After my bathroom flooded and killed my scale, Maureen was helpful with instruction about how to handle the upcoming weigh ins! .Thanks, Maureen!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Planned meals better. Though it appears that my weight has increased, it hasn't. I'm just on a different scale and....oops. I forgot to take off my shoes!

Non-scale victory of the week!

Two notable things! Met a friend for a quick lunch yesterday who I had not seen in a while. She called me that afternoon and said "You look good. Your boobs look small(er)." Made me laugh. But I put on the dress in this week's picture that I usually have to wear a camisole so as not to expose too much cleavage. But today, minimal visible cleavage!!!! No cami needed. And, second victory was the healthy food prep for the usu 10-11h roadtrip. I cut watermelon and carrots. Prepped sandwiches on GF bread. Brought nuts and lots of water. And premade watermelon/cucumber smoothies to drink for hydration and little sugar boost. Drawbacks......proper hydration does not make for efficient roadtripping due to more frequent potty breaks!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Well....the roadtrip successes were balanced by food choice failure. Sandwiches were made with cold cuts on regular bread. Fast food stop along with gas, bag of popcorn.....Red Bull ( sugar free). So, body not happy with that.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Get back on track with healthy, fresh food and lots of water and continuing with the increased gym days. I was on track to lose enough weight each week to meet the Kickstarter goals before the July family reunion. But, this trip has put me off pace to meet goal. I'm hoping that this extra weight is just water retention and inflammation from noncompliant food and drink.
