  • Well, I’ve been officially up 2 pounds and it’s held steady for the last two weeks. (Prob not water weight!) This is despite 7 days per week of #mbf, and 7 days per week of getting my daily step goal at night (13000 steps or more), and meticulously weighing/logging my calories through MyFitnessPal. Fitbit estimates my daily calorie burn to be around 2300 per day, so I’ve been eating 1600 calories per day. I am going to try lowering down to 1400 and see how I feel. Even though the scales not budging (actually going up!), I am not feeling discouraged at all because I’ve been living a really healthy life! But I am determined to lose some body fat so I’m open to tweaking my diet until I see results. It just gets so much harder once you become middle aged! Thank goodness I am lifting weights again because I know that will help me so much long term.

I had same issue when hitting 150lbs, just wouldn’t go any further down for me. Ultimate reset helped which is a structured diet where you take out proteins and eat only veggies and then add back animal products slowly. But then I don’t think you’ll be able to work out hard during that. Whatever you do, be very careful - you don’t want to get sick because your immunity is down due to malnutrition, especially nowadays.

75Hard was a game changer for me . I’m on day 7 and dropped 4.8 pounds in that time. Not only physically am I feeling better but mentally . It’s not easy but it’s so worth it .

After the last two days, I think I have figured out my problem.

1. I get bored, I scroll through social media or tv.
2. I get stressed I eat or have a drink
3. News and social media have been STRESSING ME OUT for the last year

Time to cleanse my life of tv and social media! It is hard to stay focused with all the craziness and negativity.

I went on a binge snooze-fest on social media. Anyone with any type of political or similar post got snoozed. Now I just see cat groups, gun groups, and fitness stuff. It’s so refreshing!

  • 21 day fix, day 2-leg day can be checked off!!
    It is amazing how quickly I lose muscle mass and strength now that I’m in my 40s. I typically used 15lbs or 20lbs for these moves last year. I took two months off—and BAM—I couldn’t do more than 5lbs or 8lbs. The old saying that you better use it or lose it is true. And I am so sore already. But, you’ve got to start somewhere.

  • I just had to share...I’ve gotten my step goal (12,900 steps per day) for 49 days in a row. If I do it again today, that will be 50DAYS IN A ROW. I’m not always good at sticking to my habits, so this is huge for me! This has meant walking in all kinds of rain, and sleet, and snow...and on days when I was tired. It has meant overcoming a lot of really good excuses, if you know what I mean. But I did it...and I can hardly believe it.
