Hi Stephanie, how're you doing? :)
I saw on your Instagram a few weeks ago a picture of a baked squash stuffed with onion & mushrooms... I craved that for a while and finally tonight I have made it! Delicious!! ^_^

Hey Raffy!

So glad you enjoyed it! I only really discovered it recently but it is a great starchy vegetable to have when you're fed up with sweet potato. Although, I'm never fed up of sweet potato, haha.

Baked squash does look way more fancier on the plate though. Really glad you enjoyed it. :)

Thanks Raffy! On Wednesday I will have reached a month of eating nothing but vegetables and fruit (mostly by juicing). I haven't felt hungry once and my energy levels are through the roof! My father-in-law has lost 30 lbs in less than a month. We really can't believe all the good benefits it has brought to us. I can honestly say that the obsession I had with food has dropped immensely. I have said no to every single unhealthy food that has headed my way, I'm happy to eat salads and I don't feel like stuffing my face with everything I see. After Wednesday I'm back to eating the good stuff. Grass fed animal protein, wild caught fish, eggs, good fats (coconut oil, avocado, nuts and seeds), fruit and vegetables. I highly recommend you check out It Starts With Food by Dallas and Melissa Hartwig. Life changing!

Congrats! It's a great commitment! :) I've started to eat more vegetables and fruits, too, but sometimes I fall for pasta or a piece of bread ;)) I'll check it out immediately! Thanx & keep going! ;)

Congrats on achieving your goal! Did you ever do the 15 day Reboot? If so how was it? I did the 3 day and it was instrumental in getting my stalled weight loss to move again. I'm considering trying the 5 day next week.

Stephanie

Hey! Thank you so much! Congrats to you too!

I actually am doing the 30 Day Reboot (following the 15 day plan and then just creating my own guide after that). I am on Day 9 right now and it is going much better than I expected.

My father-in-law who has more than 80 lbs to lose has already lost 15 pounds and I have lost 7.2. I can't believe how fast I am losing the weight!

Today was the first day where I was filled with energy. I don't finish all my juices either and I eat an actual fruit because the thought of not having anything at all to bite kind of makes me a little crazy. It doesn't seem to be hurting anything though. It's kind of funny to think that I'm cheating by eating a piece of fruit!

I'd say definitely go for longer if you can. If you can do 5, then do 10, then do 15. It gets easier as the days go. I'm doing a blog on my journey so far so when I get it done I'll share and maybe that will help you out. :)

Awesome! Congrats to you both. I have over 150 lbs still left to lose and I lost about 8 lbs on the 3 day. Definitely, please share your blog with me!

I never reached the energy boost on the 3 day, it was too short. Although it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be not to chew anything.

Congrats on the upcoming 5k! You can definitely do it. I was soooo nervous and it was extremely difficult for me, i won't lie about that ;) But it felt so wonderful afterwards. 10 weeks ago I couldn't have run a mile let alone over 3 miles, but I did it and it was such a great accomplishment. As far as tips go -- don't over think it, just run. Don't let your head tell you that you can't do it. Remember to breath and if music is your thing, have an awesome playlist going! I did mine in 40:25 so if competition is your thing just try and beat that time and that will for sure keep you going. Good luck!!
